Entrance and Living area
A three-stories townhouse in Brooklyn, NY is welcoming a family with an exposed red brick wall at the entrance. Its interior photos are ready to go now! Hexagonal tiles with dark gray stripes from cle tile create an interesting pattern on the floor, distinguishing the living area from the entrance. Moreover, dark-framed doors with brass handles pop out and its language goes into a grand stair located in the middle of the house. And, skylight from the top floor comes all the way down to the first floor along the staircase, and brightens the house, which I think is awesome! By the way, there is a hidden gem spot under the stair. Guess what!
Under-the-desk cabinets with metal mesh doors are places for two lovely dogs. Yes, it’s a custom-made kennel! Don’t worry. They are not spending the whole day being squeezed in there. This is an extremely dog-friendly townhouse. Furthermore, the herringbone pattern from the entrance floor tile continues to the wood flooring. It’s slightly different, but you get the point. Here, warmly stained white oak flooring is from Madera. It is durable enough that you let the dogs play on it without rugs.
Kitchen
The main renovation occurred in the kitchen. Full height cabinet and upper cabinet over countertop are painted in Fallow & Ball Pavilion Gray. With natural sunlight, its light beige-ish gray color matches well with light gray marble by ABC stone. The beautiful marble has a rich pattern, and it adds elegance to the whole kitchen area. Also, the dark blue color on the under cabinet brings a lively vibe to the house. Additionally, a full-height cabinet on the other side of the kitchen does practical jobs. However, a nicely designed door wouldn’t be blocking your pathway. Thinking that it could leave open most of the time, the white oak finish inside the cabinet looks amazing with the overall kitchen concept.
