Staging and Photography Of A Beautiful Duplex Apartment in Brooklyn NY

Bright and cozy duplex apartment for family

I took these interior photos of beautiful duplex in Brooklyn few years ago. This bright duplex apartment project in Brooklyn NY was done one or two years before the covid. It locates right next to Prospect park, which is the biggest park in Brooklyn. I would call it ‘Central park in Brooklyn’. The park is very welcoming and grand. It is the best place to enjoy the weekend with family, and this duplex apartment matches perfectly well with the concept – a cozy and friendly vibe for a family with kids.

Two apartments are combined into one duplex apartment, and the custom-made stair is connecting two spaces. The white oak stair is being held from the top, and it allows visual contact through the stairs. The living area next to the stair has enough space for a sofa, coffee table, and two lounge chairs. Through big windows, ample light comes in and warms up the living and dining area and its floor. The most valuable aspect of this apartment is its travertine flooring. With travertine’s light beige color and linear pattern, the whole duplex apartment looks elegant. The dining table and unique metal shelf in the dining area are both from Kin & Company.

The Best Home Office

This duplex apartment was before covid. Imagine you were in a situation where you had to spend most of your time at home and work from home. And this is the best home office ever for the pandemic period- you have bright sunlight, a sofa, and a bathroom! You can go out to a spacious terrace for a refresh. (It’s almost the same size as the indoor space, bam!) Covid surely proved how much home is valuable. A simple and neat white modern kitchen is right next to the office. It is almost too close so you should be careful to eat too often… The vault stool at the home office is by Talbot&Yoon, and 3 pieces of copper LED pendants over the kitchen island are Tom Dixon‘s.

Private rooms on the upper floor

While the lower floor is for public use, the upper floor is for private rooms. The Master bedroom has a decent walk-in closet finished in white oak and its own bathroom. Two other bedrooms are for their kids who are a teenage girl and a preschool boy. A custom-made kid bed creates a playful environment.

I really enjoyed taking photo shoots for this duplex in Park Slope, Brooklyn NY.
